Before Veloce Racing's first race of the 2022 Extreme E season in Saudi Arabia, optimism was running high with the talented Christine GZ joining the team for her inaugural season with the team. With Velcoe looking the fastest out on track in qualifying, Christine lost control and rolled the car, leading to a serious ankle injury. In the weeks following the accident, I decided to follow Christine and document her rehabilitation, leading to an incredibly insightful process of the mental and physical battle an athlete must face in order to return to full fitness.
